Thats nothing when compared to my plumber who thinks that he is everything when it comes to technology. Nitin : If you look at the posts above, one thing should be evident. The kind of importance that is given to water pipes and thier material of construction is just missing in our cities. I dont think there is any concious effort to ground the water pipes in the new apartments - simply because at most places they are replaced with the plastic lines - and only the user interfaces are in metal. Moral : Take all care that you can to avoid the 230 V ac coming into contact with the water tank/pipe. And dont forget that ELCB in the incomer to your power installation. One should be alive to know the level of water in the tank :-0 Raghu |
