I would suggest using baud rate crystals, like 11.0592, 14.7456, 18.432MHz and so on.
Amen to that. What I have found about high baud rates is that the UART is not the limiter, the time spent in the ISR is. It does not do much good that your UATR can spit out a byte in 50 us if your ISR takes 80us to process. Erik |
