Man, its been almost a year since my original post.

I was digging though my "Box o Electronics" and found my old floppy I was trying to interface with my 8051. Looking on the web and on these forms found NOTHING new. So I thought I would try with a diffrent question.

Anyone have a TIMING schmatic for how a floppy drive read/writes?

The same rules of the game apply. NO controlers (I have 3 of those SMC floppy chips.) and minimual interface parts to the I/O pins.

I thought I try again, though with less hope of help then I had before:P

(PS PLEASE don't suggest compact flash. I want to interface with a floppy, not with a hard drive.)
