I have worked on previously the Sony Remote control RC-6 Standard. I purchased an ordianary TV remote control RM681 RC-6 Sony Remote Control. Then, i decoded that RC-6 remote control using 89c51 and shf-30 Siemens IR reciever to control some of my home appliances and softwares to be control with remote control. Now the problem:

I have no idea on laser diodes, i wish to be convert that into the lasers 100m.

So can any one give me the suitable Laser diode and receiver number so that i can make my own RC-6 encoder and decoder.
