This is not quite the right forum to ask such questions! ...That is unless his intention is to transport the simple low level protocol over to some type of 8052 type embedded platform connected to his ethernet MAC chip. Jay has indicated that he intends to design his own protocol. If he uses an Ethernet MAC chip he is going to be stuck with using the Ethernet transport protocol!! Michael Karas |
