And what about TCP/IP? No comments about the topic?
I mean, the underlying chip(s) is not important. For my Internet-controlled-Automatic-Garden-Watering system the chip manufacturer plays only a subordinate part... It would be interesting, what could be done with such a least-cost ethernet nodes. In Germany I found a coffe-machine with integrated webserver www.juraworld.de : E-Line). I guess this is more a kind of "Joke", nevertheless the machine itself is quite expensive and seems to be constructed for "real world" use. |
