#66827 - RE: Graphic LCD issue - Michael & Pravin
Responding to: ???'s previous message
OK here are some more details on the procedure I adopted :

For converting to required image file from a BMP file I use a utility called "FastLCD Designer" Version 1.2.0. This is by Mr Bojan and from a company (?) called I. Microdesign. Unfortunatley I do not know the source from where I downloaded it - maybe some of our members could have given the refernce.

This program can convert a Black and White bmp file into a image map suitabel for HD6102 or T6963 LCD driver. Quite a nice program and simple to use.

"Did you convert the BMP to ASM DB statements?"

Yes I checked the code dis-assembly and found them to be all zeros, where they ought to be.

" If so make sure that this tool is not mistakenly thinking that the erased FLASH is 00 as opposed to FF"

This I think IS THE issue. I am using FlashMagic ( with 89c51rd2) and maybe Andrew can comment if this is what happens. I just need one more day to check and confirm this - as I am travelling right now.

But I am sure this is the problem. And if this is so how to get out of it ?

Thanks for the support

Raghu
