#67566 - RE: Intel 8051/ Atmel 89c51 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
This is exactly what I read from your posts:
- The 8051 is electrically identical to the 8051 in every way. This includes current sink per I/O pin, clock frequency, reset requirements, everything... everything: "No difference at all except for manufacturers tag. Both are fully software hardware and pin compatible". Note that this already would have me believe it has the same programmability if I were a novice. - The 8051 is programmable. You literally ask "what programmer exactly do you have", and after mr. kini has answered this question, you reply "Then surely you can program all 8051 compatible 40 pin DIP package parts. include intel 8051". If you had done a little homework, or had the experience, you would have known that an 8051 is a mask ROM device and it makes no sense to ask which programmer is involved. "I bet I have no where mentioned Intel P8051 is programmable or can be programmed" I dare you to put your money where your mouth is and tell me where I can get my prize :-) I'm sorry, Prahlad, but if you don't know enough about a subject to post, don't. I know that I don't. There is nothing shameful about not knowing everything, nobody does. But handing out speculations will only confuse potential comp... eeehr... fellow posters on this board. Hans |
