Please watch, both are also not identical from the applications view and not only from the programming.
The 8051 part without C in the name differs in this way: - its a NMOS device - its gulping power and so its heating up - the output stages are not CMOS-compatible, only TTL compatible - the high current was about 10 times bigger, if the port pin was driven low externally, e.g. on driving a transistor. - and some more differences exist Peter |
