#67599 - Order of magnitude? Responding to: ???'s previous message |

the goal is to calculate energy consumption of whole house ... can any one tell me how to measure uptil 5A 5A for the whole house?! Maybe I'm just a decadent Westerner, but that doesn't sound anywhere near appropriate for a whole house! In the UK, individual loads of 30-40A are not uncommon (eg, electric cooker; power shower). BTW: Texas Instruments also have dedicated chips for this - no doubt they also have Application Notes, etc. |
