#68220 - RE: smart card to control another device. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
well ISO 7816 is avaiable at www.ISO.org but its not free.
I m implementing a Sim Card reader for GSM Mobiles. The thing is: When i Send 8-bit data through serial port from a PC to some micro-controller, it is in the form of 10-bit or 12-bit data (serially) due to the start bit, parity bit and stop bit. Also for GSM standard Sim: Select comand has follwing structure (bytes): ----- INS ----- P1 ----- P2 ----- P3 ----- ----- A4 ----- 00 ----- 00 ----- 02 ----- Now the question is do i have to send only valid bytes information or i have to pad each 8-bit value with start and stop bits or parity bit? |
