Of course you are looking at what effect the solenoid switching and the "oscillation" is having on your power supply with an oscilloscope.....if not you should be.....and soon you should be able to see such things as if the voltage is drooping, being superimposed with spikes, or if the microcontroller supervisor chip is causing a reset.
