To be an effective EMI savvy designer there is a lot to learn. You need to have good theoretical background, but a visual 'feel' of where the currents are flowing (and their frequency conponents) is also essential. These skills lead to the crucial ability to identify antennas.
Several colleagues recommended the book: "High Speed Digital Design, an introduction to black magic" by Howard Johnson (about $65 US). It has saved me a lot of time and money. |
