#68489 - Timers serviced after IE re-enabled? |
I've searched this forum and read the 80C51 family architecture document but still am not 100% certain that the interrupts work the following way. Can someone please confirm or shed additional light on this?
I need to execute three consecutive lines of code without any interrupts being envoked. Therefore, I am thinking of globally diabling the interrupts by clearing EA before the three lines of code and then enabling the interrupts right afterward. If a timer overflows during the time the interrupts are globally turned off, will the timer be serviced as soon as I globally enable the interrupts? Thanks, Marek |
