There is a small error in my earlier post. If the TF bit was not cleared manually and is alive and IE global interrupt is enabled than exactly after one instruction execution the Timer interrupt will be generated. The timer interrupt automatically clears TF so there is no need to clear when using interrupts But if you don't want the timer ISR to be called automatically immediatelly after enabling IE than don't forget to clear TF. |
