You will want to provide perfect fail safe protection on the breaker closers . Newer instalations have auto sycronisers. With them you just provide an enable signal to them and they close correctly. Older systems require that you control the plant and close at your discretion. Monitoring poses no direct problems but control errors are quite exciting.
Make certain that you fully understand the control sequence and operation before you commit to this. Test your control in place but with the critical outputs driving coils that do not close the breakers. if it is clean and the timing is correct for the sequence of operation on site then you should be good to go .
