Currently I am working on small systems based on microcontrollers.I am planning to take Post grduation course.
two opions are available of my interest in field

1. VLSI technology
2. Embedded system

Problem is what is preferable RTOS or VLSI
As more & more ic manufacturers are developing vary much application oriented chips may be eliminating
need for RTOS.
so career point of view over the longer peroid of time what is the future of both
