#70155 - RE: flash write issue - reply to Russel Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Thanks Russell.
In the light of your explanation, I tried the different combinations of magic addresses. Let me quote the whole chip erase case: for a whole chip erase, the data sheet depicts the magic addresses as 555Hex and 2AA Hex(added from the base address of flash memory map, of course) VC01 is a 32 bit processor, its external memory address bus is A0-A25(A[19:2]are row/column addresses). I tried with x2 combination -> AA8Hex & 554Hex (added from the base address of flash memory map, of course) - No result I gave a trial with with x4 combination ->1554Hex & AA8Hex (added from the base address of flash memory map, of course) - No result As for other options, I checked the Datapolling bit after any write and erase(it is set as though flash/erase is over) and ensured that the wait time after write is sufficient. Any new direction suggestions?Anyone? Regards Achu |
