Regarding Data polling issue,I have implemented the standard datapolling algorithm in the AMD flash's datasheet itself.

I get the datapoll bits 1(success) immeditely after I start the polling after erase/write. But I think this is an erratic condition. The DQ0-DQ15 bits of the flash databus doesn't seem to be reliable in read backs.

But the cream of the joke is that when I tried to read the CFI queries from the flash,as per the routine in datasheet, it just works fine giving the query results as per spec.

I have to dig more, but this being a part time issue to resolve, I can't just dedicate my whole time into the problem.
