The only think which kept me from pursuing this was the question, how long will this LCD be available in the market, down the years? as new models come out these are likely to be discontinued.
The same problem is biting me too. You cann't be sure how long you will continue to get these thus before using them in some product for long run you have to think twice.

Also there are some cheap 256 color 131X131 Nokia 6610 LCD displays available. 6610 displays also use interface simillar to 3310 and are very easy to use.
