It is kind of difficult to accurately understand all aspects of your RS485 network from the picture that you drew in ASCII text format. But it appears that you may have some issues with the terminations. The RS485 bus should be a single string of wires from Node 1 to Node 10. There should be terminations only installed at the very extreme ends of the network (i.e. in just two places). Can you clarify what means "Backto back rs485" in your picture? Michael Karas |
