another possibility:
If MKs drawing is correct in this respect, you drive the primary line from a PC (with a 232 to 485 converter attached). This CAN be trouble, especially if the setup is not perfect. With this large a system, I would insert a '51 between the PC and the primary line and let the PC speak 232 to that unit. Erik |
