1. 89c51rd2 data sheet - particularly the para on ISP.

2. MAX232 data sheet.

3. DS1232 or any such reset controller data sheet. This forum abounds with this topic. Search to find more equivalent numbers.

4. AN461 application note till you get the concept clear.

5. The manual that comes with Flash Magic from www.esacademy.com

After you read the above, normally there should be no problem as things will kind of fall in place and easy to continue with topics like No-Touch etc.

Actually I was tempted to post the GIF image of a minimum setup with the above ICs - but then there is virtually nothing to it by way of a circuit. If you some basic background of working with digital gates or MCUs you can draw the circuit yourself armed with the knowledge from the data sheets.

Doing it by yourself is a guaranteed way to learn.
