#72131 - RE: Clock Crystal Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I am quite new to programming these devices and it probably is quite apparent now. I thought I would use each ignition pickup and connect it to an external interrupt on each MCU. When the interrupt is triggered a routine in the program runs to determine spark delay then to fire the plug. This way I don't have the alternate cylinder triggering an interrupt while I have a timer trying to track something else. Perhaps I should be using something other then an 89C2051 for this task.
