#72494 - Using WINBOND RAM with 8051 |
Hello
Today..I`ve read a very interesting thread in our german robotic forum. Someone connected an old ram chip from an old 486 motherboard, to a mcu on a breadboard. I didn`t know that it`s possible, to access static ram with a mcu. There is a picture at the bottom: http://www.elektronik-projekt.de/forumview..._1236.html By accident, I found the same WINBOND chip`s in my IC box. So..it would be great to have some more information. Hmmm.. Did I get it right? Is it possible to expand the flash memory of the mcu with the ram ? Greetings Karim |
