well, it 4KB is too little for a 8051, then why don't you use a 8052 it has 8KB and a 3rd timer that's what i would do.
if 8KB is still too little there are devices with more than 64KB of flash memory and In System Programming If you use external RAM & ROM you will loose i/o pins, also you will make your system more expensive. |
