Please note that the operation we are talking about here is a I2C Bus Reset. This is not a "memory" reset or clear. It is strictly a reset of the bus interface portion of a slave device.
No - it does no good to try to address each device. This process only needs to run the SCL some 9 times with SDA high to ensure that any device that had accidently been left in a multibyte read sequence is able to leave that state. Michael Karas |
