Hello all,
I've been trying without success to switch the P89LV51RD2 in-out of the X2 mode.

The datasheet mentions this can be done :-
6-clock/12-clock mode programmable “on the fly” by SFR bit X2 (FST.3).

The FST register seems read-only.
I don't want to do it using IAP call.I'd like to do it "on-the-fly".

Has anyone done it, how?.
