 		 #7468 - LCD not initialising with P1 as Data pin
I have connected LCD in 8 bit mode to Port P1 and Rs, EN, to P3.2 , P3.3. LCD is not initialising.

The same is working well if i connect data pins of lcd to port A of 8255 (0x4000) without changing RS and EN. is there any special care to be taken while connecting to Port 1?.
