#74865 - Code generation for Keil C51...? Responding to: ???'s previous message |

Try their evaluation version and judge for yourself. I said:
Anything to particularly look out for? The one that springs to mind is Code generation for Keil: The classic way of doing statemachines in 'C' is with tables of function pointers (especially with automatic code generation). But this technique requires special attention with Keil C51 (due to the nature of the 8051 architecture). Does IAR visualSTATE create code that's usable with (or easily modifiable for use with) Keil C51? (IAR claim that visualSTATE is usable with non-IAR compilers). |
