Oh, and if you want to have the various const tables (not all of which are function pointer tables) allocated to program memory, in the workspace view, highlight the project, and from the menu bar, select Project / Options / Code Generation... to bring up the Coder Options dialog. Then on the Ext. Keywords tab, for "C51 constant segment", select "CODE segment" from the drop-down list. This with qualify the tables with the C51 code keyword.
