You need to investigate this thoroughly before declaring that you have fixed the problem.
Your underlying problem may still be present - you could just have masked the symptoms for a while...

After all, you did start by telling us that, "the design is already under production" - presumably you had tested it before starting production, and this problem had not manifested itself...?


As Michael Neary said, in the real world (railway station) there'll be a lot more nasties to aggravate any design weaknesses...
