I agree with the Gang when they say you can't do this.
But, here's something the others haven't mentioned. The I2C master expects the slave to acknowlege the transfer at the proper time. Sounds like your far-end device wouldn't do that. Depending on the master implementation, your program may hang forever, or be interrupted, or otherwise fail in some interesting manner. --a |
