#75273 - RE: OT: Tools. Responding to: ???'s previous message |
What tools are you using in your electronics workshop? What do you recommend,</i.
The question here is What is your budget? If you can spend $5 The right recommendation would be assembler and simulator, If you can spend $10.000, the recommendations would be Keil($3k), Tektronix ($2k min) CEIBO or Nohau ($1k5-$8k) etc. For example, working with the LPC932, if the value of your time is such that you can spend $800 on a CEIBO ICE (which for some project will save you very little time and for a pesky bugs can save you days) the correct decision is to buy it. However, if you are an amateur and consider your time "free" it would be a frivoulous expense. SO what is the budget, what is the project complexity level. Erik |
