Michael,

I use Hyperterminal for most everything. Command line access to a micro is my favorite way to debug. Select <Transfer>,<Send Text File> for ASCII download. You most likely wont need anything else.

I don't think that Symantec offers a demo of Procomm.

Give HyperTerminal a try. It's FREE!
