Nobody can help you, because it's a BIG SECRET! The company which manufactures BOTH CHIPS is deliberately witholding how to use these chips from the public, because they don't want anybody to come and buy them.

But between you and me: if you go to the Atmel site, and search for 10 seconds, you will find application notes including
- schematics of an example of how to connect one or more "24C04's to an 89Cx051" (yep, that's literally what it says)
- extensive example software, all ready to try out and tinker with

Ssssh! Don't tell anybody! It's a ... secret.
By the way, most manufacturers do this to prevent use of their products.
