Something to add:
I didn’t introduce a revolutionary method for reading matrix keypad, I just questioned the necessity for debouncing. You asked what is the best can be done and I said this is the best can be done. sorry if it is disappointing. If there is an even slight advantage of doing debouncing, I think it is better to do it because it is not a hard job at all.
