if "it" is FlashMagic th answer is yes, but you confuse the issue by wobbling between Philips and Atmel chips.

FlashMagic is for Philips, I believe that for Atmel you use something called "flip" and if you post again that your question is related to Atmel, I am sure someone else will answer
