Hi Martyn,
Welcome. A bit of grovelling never goes amiss.... You CAN get a very nice little development board from Farnell, the Keil MCB900 which will get you going quickly, subject to some provisos on program size (<=4K maximum), and all for 50 quid. The board comes with all you need to get going, a serial port, some LEDs for lighting practice, a pot to twiddle to talk to the ADC and a decent prototyping area for your bits. Steve |
