even normal photocopy paper works fine for this purpose. But the printer should be a laser with atleast 600dpi resolution. Then use the hot transfer method.
technik corp. sells specially coated sheets for the same purpose. print with laser printer or photocopy on the sheet and heat transfer it onto the pcb. the etch resists seems to be quite resistant to warm temperatures and conc. FeCl3 solutions. I have made more than hundred pcb's with these. even double sided. you need to be careful while aligning both sides. the distortion is not a problem even with smt's if you use the normal rules for pad-pad, track-track separations |
