Maybe, all I remember was something about a remote display that did not get totally resolved, the details are fuzzy.
Anyhow I am going to use the very same display but in the "CMOS serial version" which basically is the same without the MAX232 (or whatever) chip (for mounting on the same board, who needs level convert). Goinf serial saves me a bunch of pins by using 3 instead of 11.
