Hallo Erik, take care if cable length is relevant! If your signal shows fast edges, reflections and overshots can occur and trouble can arise from capacitive stray coupling between the lines. Using a MAX232 could be very effective, because slew rates are heavily smoothed with these chips, to about 10V/µsec. This will greatly help to prevent trouble... Kai |
