I started another thread just in case you got tired of answering my questions.


"but it does not run" means this:
if you look at the program, among the first lines are
LED = 1;
and then it enters the main loop.
It starts lighting and shifting P2 back and forth. Well, it does light the LED and lights ONLY the first bit of P2 so it does P2 = 0x01, and it stays there.

It is supposed to light one bit of P2 at a time and shift to the left and then do the same thing, but to the right...It does it with the EMP900.
