#78782 - 8051 UART and Microsoft Serial Mouse |
Hi All,
According to what I have studied 8051 ( specifically 80C51RD+ ) UART expects: start bit -> 7 data bits ( 8 in mode 2, 3) -> stop bit While Microsoft Serial Mouse (2 button) sends 7 data bits and 1 stop bit i.e. no start bit click for more info . Interestingly this site says that the mouse also sends a start bit. Now the problem is that
Please help he in this. I'll be very grateful to you... Thanks |
