#79023 - Microsoft 3.11 TERMINAL.EXE Responding to: ???'s previous message |
This is just a matter of preference and it has absolutely no special features, but I have always used TERMINAL.EXE that came with Windows 3.11. It is absolutely no-frills and just plain works. When I use HyperTerm I'm never quite sure if something is failing because I have a problem on my 8052 project or because something is misconfigured in HyperTerm. In TERMINAL.EXE it just works. If I'm not getting any data I know I have problems in my code.
It's not fancy but that's the way I like it. Regards, Craig Steiner |
