Thanks for the responses. I tried the config for ROM at 0, ALE connected directly to the 373 and EA to GND. Still does not boot up. I have several hex loaders and monitors that work fine with the configuration. Does basic-52 expect external RAM at a certain address or does it search for available RAM at any address above 1FFF.?
