I had also stumbled onto some info from Raisonance which echoed the same thing - although in 'c'.

I to have resorted to the various app notes that TI put out, but again, you're left to interpret what bits do what - the app note says do ....... and it works but you have to search through a few documents to get the info that explains why seting bit in a register the the required job. Apart from that, the part seems to work well.
