It sounds like you are doing a one-up implementation. I infer this from your comment that "I have already purchased the controller" where "the" sounds like a singular term.

It would be outright silly of you to go out and purchase any type of parallel programmer for this one chip. Set the old chip aside to collect sunshine in the window and purchase another controller with the ISP capability. You will save yourself money in the long run.
