No I suggested you look for one of the "port opening" utilities one can get for Windows, if you are really stuck try a different OS.

Sometimes, and I am learning fast. I am working to eliminate Windows from the customer facing part of some of my instrument work, with nano-X and kylix/Lazarus/Free Pascal applications.
