Hi Sheik,
You have got the maths for the straight line issue in the post by Joseph. Maybe you can try that out for different values of "m". You may notice that the straight line when plotted on your display (with the limited resolution) may not look very elegant for values other than 45 deg or around that value. For very low or very high values of "m", steps will start to appear. So before you launch full blast into doing the maths for other curves, a few issues to ponder about : 1. Will the available resolution be adequate to represent all your possible curves ? 2. Will your processor have enough time to do other jobs besides plotting curves ? Please remember that these LCDs are not speed demons. You will want to consider a dedicated processor for the LCD driving buisness and your host or main processor can just keep pushing raw data to be manipulated and displayed by the LCD.
